The Dakota County Groundwater Protection Unit is offering households and businesses in Vermillion Township who use private drinking water wells a free water test kit. Participants will test their well water for common contaminants including nitrate, arsenic, manganese, lead, and E. coli bacteria. If you would like to participate in the program, please click on the link below. Participants can expect their test kit in the mail between June and July of 2025 and will have the rest of the year to return the kit with pre-paid postage provided.
