Building permits are required for all new construction and structural changes to buildings as well as plumbing, heating, and septic system installation and modifications.
For permits needing Board approval please submit your plans along with an application to the building inspector at least two weeks prior to the regular monthly meeting. The Building Inspector will review your plans and give them to the Clerk for processing. The Clerk will bring them to the next regular meeting for Board approval and issuance. You must be present at the regular meeting in order for the Board to take action on your permit application. Please be prepared to pay for the permit upon issuance.
