Septic permits are required to install, modify or repair a Septic system
New homes require board approval. Start by locating the "Forms" tab and download the CONSIDERATION OF PLANNING REQUEST - APPLICATION. Submit the completed form to the clerk to begin the process of obtaining an address.
After an address is assigned, download the NEW BUILDING - CHECKLIST & PERMIT APPLICATION. Complete the checklist and application and submit it to the Township Building Inspector (Beaver Creek Companies). Plan to attend the next regular monthly meeting to discuss your project.
After the Township Building Inspector approves the drawings and indicates that all requirements are met, the applicant will receive an invoice from the Building Inspector. Payments are to be made to Vermillion Township, but mailed to Beaver Creek Companies.
After payment has been received - a permit will be issued.
Home additions, garages and sheds require board approval. Download & complete the RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE - CHECKLIST & PERMIT APPLICATION and submit it to the Township Building Inspector (Beaver Creek Companies). Plan to attend the next regular monthly meeting to discuss your project.
After the Township Building Inspector approves the drawings and the Town Board grants permit approval, the applicant will receive an invoice from the Building Inspector.
Payments are to be made to Vermillion Township, but mailed to Beaver Creek Companies.
After payment has been received - a permit will be issued.
Roofing, siding, windows and fireplace repairs / replacement do NOT require board approval. Download & complete the RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE - CHECKLIST & PERMIT APPLICATION and submit it to the Township Building Inspector (Beaver Creek Companies). The inspector will review the project and an applicant will receive an invoice from the Building Inspector.
Payments are to be made to Vermillion Township, but mailed to Beaver Creek Companies.
After payment has been received - a permit will be issued.
Download & complete the RESIDENTIAL SEPTIC - PERMIT APPLICATION and submit it to the Township Septic Inspector (Darrel Gilmer). The Septic Inspector will review the project, collect the permit fee and issue the permit.
